FY 2024-2025 Notice of Budget Workshops (Updated)

Budget Workshops –

Wednesday & Thursday, February 21st – 22nd from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm and

Tuesday, February 27th from 8:30am – 4:30pm and

Wednesday & Thursday March 13th – 14th from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

• Each department will present to the Board to review needs and requests. Board will then review draft budget document. Discussion of prioritization of needs versus available funds. Solicit innovative ideas or services they would like to include. Review of Capital Improvements.

*If workshop tasks are completed on Wednesday then the Thursday meeting will not be required.

Public Hearing on Budget –

Wednesday, April 3rd at regularly scheduled BOA Meeting

• Per Statue the Board must hold at least one public hearing on the budget.

Budget /Ordinance Adoption –

Wednesday, May 1st

• Budget to be adopted during the regular scheduled BOA meeting
