Request for Proposal Municipal Legal Services

The Town of North Topsail Beach, North Carolina, is requesting proposals from qualified attorneys and/or law firms to provide municipal legal services to the Board of Aldermen and staff related to Town operations.

The Town operates under a Council/Manager form of government. Services requested include but are not limited to advising Town officials, drafting legal documents, reviewing agreements, contracts, franchises and other instruments; attending meetings of the Town Board of Aldermen and other Town Boards or Committees as requested; representing the Town in matters of litigation, legislation, code enforcement, zoning, land use, real estate, labor and employment, finance, taxation, environmental, economic development, law enforcement, Freedom of Information, records retention, risk management and State and Federal regulatory issues and performing other duties as required by law or as the Board may direct.
