OFFICIAL NOTICE OF REVISED BUDGET CALENDAR MEETING DATES FY 23-24

Department Head Meetings –

• Tuesday & Wednesday, February 7th – 8th at 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Meetings with Town Manager, Finance Officer and each Department Head to review requested budget, to assess departmental needs and to review capital improvement requests.

Follow Up Meetings, if necessary

Budget Workshops –

• Tuesday & Wednesday, March 14th – 15th from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm and Wednesday & Thursday April 19th – 20th from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Wednesday, May 10th – 11:00 am

Each department will present to the Board to review needs and requests. Board will then review draft budget document. Discussion of prioritization of needs versus available funds. Solicit innovative ideas or services they would like to include. Review of Capital Improvements.

^{*If workshop tasks are completed on Wednesday then the Thursday meeting will not be required.}

Public Hearing on Budget –

• Wednesday, May 10th at 11:00 am

Per Statue the Board must hold at least one public hearing on the budget. Hearing will follow the additional Budget Workshop.

Budget /Ordinance Adoption –

• Wednesday, June 14th at 11:00 am
