Bridge Maintenance

Please be advised that the Town has just received the following notice from NCDOT concerning the NTB high rise bridge. The eastbound lane will be closed on the bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway which crosses near the Alligator Bay for Bridge inspection. One lane of traffic will be open at all times to permit traffic flow onto and off of the Island.

One lane Road operation will be in effect from 8am through 5pm daily through January 19th. Motorists are advised to slow down, expect delays, and follow the direction of on-scene traffic control.
