Microchip Scanning Station

The Town of North Topsail Beach is pleased to partner with Paws 4 Purpose on a newly installed Microchip Scanning Station at Town Hall, 2008 Loggerhead Court.  If you find a lost pet,  you can use this station where you simply grab the scanner, press a button to turn on and run the scanner on the animal as directed.  This station will be available to help you reunite lost pets with their owners AND in the event the lost pet does not have a Microchip, it will also advise you on next steps you can take.  We are excited to bring this community initiative to owners and visitors in our community.  For your convenience, it is available in an enclosed box on the station that can be accessed at any time!  It is estimated that one in three pets will go missing in their lifetime, which equates to approximately 10 million missing pets each year in the U.S.  Let us help you help them make it back home!  Thank you for caring and for sharing this post.
