STATE OF EMERGENCY LIFTED

On August 6, 2024 at 5:00pm, the Mayor declared a State of Emergency for the approach of Tropical Storm Debby.  It is determined that the conditions constituting a State of Emergency no longer exist and hereby terminate the declaration of a State of Emergency effective August 9, 2024 at 9:00am.  Please continue to be mindful of dangerous rip currents throughout this weekend and standing water as it recedes.

Debby is exiting the area but we will have another day of periodic showers and thunderstorms, some of which could produce heavy rainfall and damaging wind gusts. The flash flood threat is not over, so stay vigilant and do not attempt to drive across flooded roads.
