TURTLE TALKS RESUME JUNE 4th 2024
The Topsail Turtle Project, a division of the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center, will kick off weekly Turtle Talks at North Topsail Beach starting Tuesday, June 4th at 9:00am.
Turtle Talks will take place weekly on Tuesdays at 9am here at Town Hall, 2008 Loggerhead Court from June 4th through the last week of September. There will be four presenters each week! Please join us to learn how you can protect sea turtles! Residents and visitors are welcome!
Turtle season is upon us so please do your part to protect the Sea Turtles:
- Turn off outdoor lights facing the ocean (Close shades and drapes)
- Fill in holes and smooth out sand castles to prevent nesting turtles from getting trapped
- Remove ALL items from the beach
- Dispose of trash AND cigarette butts responsibly
