North Topsail Beach 2022 Vegetation Debris Pick-up Schedule:

• Dates: 2023 Dates will be announced in Jan 2023

• Instructions for Homeowners: Please place vegetation near the roadside in the Right-of-Way the week prior to the scheduled pick-up. Public Works will be providing the pick-up as a one-time sweep only on the aforementioned dates. Grass clippings, mulch, leaves, pine straw and vines must be in paper lawn and leaf bags. These bags are available at local hardware stores. Acceptable material placed in plastic or any other type of bags will not pe picked up. Tree limbs must be no longer than 6 feet in length and no larger than 6 inches in diameter. All vegetation must be placed in the Right-of-Way for pick up and should not be placed in or obstruction a roadway in any way. Debris from lot clearing (I.e. building a home) is not included and will not be picked up. Vegetative debris resulting from the hiring of any private contractor will not be picked up and is the responsibility of the contractor. The Town will not remove. Thank you for your Cooperation!

REMINDERS: Put containers out the night before pickup in a visible spot at the end of driveways. Pull in containers by 10 am the day after collection. No materials contaminated by food, grease, etc. in recycling. All materials left outside the cart will not be picked up. If you frequently run out of room, another cart should be ordered.
